Yaw Djang is a writer and entrepreneur born to Ghanaian parents and raised in Manchester, UK. Founder of the original X-Ray Films — which in the mid 2000s housed an unparalleled curation of underground, independent and art-house titles for rent and sale — Yaw went on to co-write a number of scripts, including a semi-autobiographical TV show optioned by London's Artists Studios. He has also built a successful career as a restauranteur, opening four restaurants across the UK. Now, he is returning to his first love: film, reviving the X-Ray name for his new production company and marking his first foray into film producing.
